A Message from our President & CEO

The San Benito Health Foundation wishes to express our solidarity to the members of our community, staff and families. As we finding new ways to be together and care of one another, we will be here offer support and comfort to our community. While we continue moving through this global pandemic together, emotional health is very important: it is often during these times that many of us feel fear, stress and panic.

We know you are being socially responsible by staying at home. But please – check on your family and friends when you can, and do it virtually. Remember to reach out especially to our elders and children, who may need more emotional support during these trying times.

We want you to know that our team here at The San Benito Health Foundation is continuing to work through the many challenges brought on by this pandemic, and are working quickly to ensure we stay connected to you and your families. We have created portals for you to communicate and consult with our doctors, introducing telemedicine visits via teleconferencing for our established patients. We’ve been fortunate to utilize such platforms such as FaceTime, Google Duo, Skype, WhatsApp and Zoom to help connect, and are continuing to offer assistance with the set up and use of these tools for those who may need the additional support. If you need help connecting with these tools, please contact us and we will try our best to help assist you in hopes it helps you feel more connected to us. If you are technically gifted, please consider contacting family and fellow community members who may be in need of your assistance and support in learning how to use these tools.

We are here to help, and together, we will find a new normal for our community.

We are here for you.

Stay home if you can – take care and be well.

Welcome to San Benito Health Foundation

I would like to invite you to make San Benito Health Foundation your community Patient Centered Health Home (PCHH).

A health home is a place where you will receive all of your primary medical care, dental and wellness needs. We are an integrated health home who coordinates comprehensive care for all of our patients regardless of their ability to pay. We have served San Benito and the surrounding counties since 1975 and were designated as a Federally Funded Community Health Center in July 2007. The Centers provide Medical, Dental, Vision and Ophthalmology services provided by Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Women Infant and Children (WIC Program) and other multi-disciplinary services. San Benito Health Foundation offers preventative services meant to keep you and your whole family healthy.

We have fully integrated Electronic Health Records which helps us to be an integrated community health home within the organization and with outside specialty referral providers. We are integrated because we believe in treating the whole person in a holistic approach, so all departments work as one team to care for you and your family.

We have special events and initiatives throughout the year, so please check our event calendar. I would like to highlight our new “Farm to Table” initiative to provide our patients with a community garden and classes on how to prepare the vegetables we grow together.

The staff care deeply about each patient and together we can maximize your health! I hope you will visit San Benito Health Foundation for all your health and wellness needs now and into the future.

Warm regards,

Rosa Vivian Fernandez Badillo, MPH, FACHE, CEC
